Street Jazz
Oil on Linen on panel
12x 9

This is a New York City street musician. The streets of New York are always so full of life and one reason is the frequency of live music on a corner, in a park, on a subway platform. This guy has apparently been around for years.

This is a combination of two challenges this week. The Daily Paintworks challenge

  1. Hi Nina, I enjoyed visiting your blog - lots of good paintings. I especially like your street jazz musician. The colors give it a lot of cool energy. Very nice work.

  2. Very nice execution and colors on a difficult subject.

  3. I love your blog and this piece.
    Well done.

  4. Very nice! You did an excellent job on the saxophone detail! Your patience paid off!

  5. I like this a lot-your brushstrokes, the background, light on the sax, and the attitude of the musician.
